Welcome to WeatherVibe ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our standalone mobile application and website (weathervibe.app).

1. Information We Collect

A. Location Data

To provide real-time weather conditions and wardrobe suggestions, WeatherVibe requests access to your device's geographical location (coarse or fine GPS coordinates).

• On-Device Processing: Your coordinates are processed on your device to determine your NWS (National Weather Service) grid points.
• NWS and Geocoding APIs: Coordinates are transmitted directly to the National Weather Service (api.weather.gov) and OpenStreetMap (nominatim.openstreetmap.org) to obtain weather forecasts and city/state names.
• No Server Retention: We do not store or retain your geolocation coordinates on our servers.

B. Analytics & Device Identifiers

We may collect non-personal analytics and device metrics to improve app stability and experience. If advertising network SDKs are integrated, they may collect mobile identifiers (like IDFAs on iOS or AdIDs on Android) to customize advertising content in compliance with platform rules.

2. Third-Party Services

We use public APIs and embeds to fetch data:

• National Weather Service (NOAA): Sourced for raw weather alerts and forecasts.
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim): Utilized for mapping searches to coordinates.
• Windy.com: Embedded via an iframe to display local radar widgets.

3. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

4. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Depending on your region, you have rights to access, update, or request deletion of any collected metadata. Since we do not require account creation to fetch weather data, we have zero identifiable personal profiles stored on our servers. Any request regarding analytics deletion can be submitted on our data deletion page.
